For the Zoids fans that are still here with me.. . for you to see that I haven’t abandoned this fandom. I was born in Zi and will die in it.

So I wanted to make a nice pic of Karl… uh… yeah, in a… *cough* nazi uniform. Because of MANY REASONS that I will not develop in this description (one of them being that Ueyama-sensei himself said Karl had been inspired by a nazi soldier). Annnd I wanted it to be in pencil because it’s been a while since I last used that technique, but I got bored halfway. At least you can see his face.

If memory serves, it’s ” a German World War II Soldier,” but that can be interpreted in… different ways? D:

But AAAHHHHH, I LOVE YOUR DRAWINGS SO MUCH. And I know I always say that but it’s true! And this pencil is great! I love how you shade, gawddamn, woman. It just gives so much dimension. But awwww, we get to see Karl smiling for once! :D

You know, you always add such character and feeling to all of your drawings and there are these little things that just all come together to make it beautiful and awesome. Like his HAIR. I love how you drew his hair. And the eye—it’s perfect. It’s Karl. You know what I’m saying?

I’m recompressing some older photos and going through some I never had on-site in the hopes I can actually get a review of something finished for once. My Zoids site is very unupdated!

König Wolf is a pain to draw, but I love its lines and overall look.

I painted some of Dratz’s awesome Zoids dragons sketches! I tried to keep true to any colours Dratz mentioned and semi-stuck to the anime designs.

I’m not so sure about the red on O’Connell, especially since he’s meant to be an ice dragon (I guess if it was more translucent-y looking it would be ok), but I like his spikes.

I messed up Herman’s wing multiple times. The printer ink (I printed Dratz’s sketches onto watercolour paper) ran if I used too much water, especially on Herman’s body, but that gave me a much better colour than I was originally planning, haha.

Camford’s more gouache than watercolour and I really like how she turned out.

Herman and Camford’s golden bits have metallic overcoats because I will use any excuse to add sparkles to things. :D

Aaaahh, you’re the best! They’re all incredible, and woah, I just love the way you do water colors, I really do. Everything has such a breathtaking touch to it that just… you paint life into everything, and I can’t stop staring at these, Momo!

I have to say that I love the colors you picked for everyone. Everything fits, and oh gosh, the detail and how you’ve added the little bits of light and the shadow… I just. Woah.

If I could give you the biggest hug ever, I would. YOU HAVE SO MUCH TALENT AND I CAN’T TELL YOU HOW PERFECT THESE ALL ARE.

You gave them feeling, you gave them soul. I can’t thank you enough for that. There’s just this awe and greatness about everything you do and just how you paint and everything from your style to your execution just… it really blows me away.

And sparkles are always good. <3
