Is it bad that when I was watching these, I couldn’t help but snort out in laughter at these two parts.

Okay, okay. So when Karl and Rob face off for the first time and Karl walks away from the border, he’s thinking “CAPTAIN ROB HERMAN… QUITE A CHALLENGE.”

And then a couple episodes later, Rob’s flying around in a Pteras and sees Karl wipe out all the sleeper Guysacks with his Iron Kong, and he’s like “Huhhhh, so he wiped out all the sleepers in one shot. He should be a worthy opponent.”

And on both occasions I was just kicking and laughing going, “WHAT? IN BED?”

… I have a terrible sense of humor.

This is exactly my train of thought.

SEXUAL TENSION

YOU COULD CUT WITH A KNIFE

I’m sorry, the way they smirk at each other. The blatant battlefield flirting. Rob, your mother is the President for Christ’s sake. What’s that? He’s the enemy? Sorry, I can’t hear you over the sound of how much I want to have sex with him.

Guardian Force is even more hilarious, specifically towards the end. Because it’s the same blatant flirting but it’s less “I want to tap that” and more “I’m tapping that and none of these guys has a clue haha let’s flaunt it.” Everyone’s so use to the flirting that they don’t even notice. 

I love these two, I really do.

Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to introduce you to perfection made in a few paragraphs.

BECAUSE IF I COULD TYPE “YES” A MILLION TIME TO EVERY SINGLE WORD RIGHT THERE, I WOULD.

That first time Rob kinda HEH’s at Karl at Red River is super adorable. I like the idea of them developing a relationship that evolves from a super-obsessive hatred to an actual bond that is going to last them a lifetime. Beginning with DAMN YOU SUCK AND YOU’RE THE ENEMY AND GET OUT OF THE NEUTRAL ZONE, YOU JERK along with a deep dark desire to do bad things. Then progressing to an “you know what, we really got off to a rocky start, but I actually want to get to know you, because you interest me.” Then finally an “I understand you, we’ve worked through every possible problem together and I appreciate you fully for your strengths and your faults as a person, and I think I’m in love with you.”

They’re so cute in Guardian Force.
Like that time that Rob calls him over the inter-com thing to say thanks for coming to help at the capital, and Karl’s like INSERT DEVILISH SMIRK HERE.

And all that Ultrasaurus shenanigans, don’t get me started.

They’re my favorites.
